Jessey White-Cinis, Technical Director / Partner

Jessey White-Cinis joined Polychrome Los Angeles in January 2009, from his position as Director of Function at Stolen LA, a renowned boutique web studio that he co-founded in 2003 with Thomas Brodahl. Jessey is a recognized expert in web development and has been an interactive community leader for the past decade. He has extensive expertise developing and creating community web sites and is a noted author on the topic of PHP and MySQL website programming. Jessey has developed dozens of web applications, is a hands-on custom solution developer, and is a regular speaker at creative web and technology conferences.

Thomas Brodahl, Creative Director / Partner

Thomas Brodahl joined Polychrome Los Angeles in January 2009, from his position as Director of Form at Stolen LA. He is an internationally recognized design director with noted experience in cultural projects. Founder of Surfstation (in June 2000), one of the first design portals and collaborative blogs, Thomas is a pioneer at creating and sustaining online creative communities. His work has been featured in the leading design periodicals and anthologies. He is a frequent judge of interactive design competitions worldwide. He has spoken at SXSW, FITC, and Iconologica. Noted client work includes projects for Disney, Bugaboo, Dodge, Live Earth, and MTV. Most recently his StatAttak shirts were released on the Product (RED) label for the GAP. Originally from Norway, with stints in Luxembourg, Virginia, London, and Los Angeles, Thomas brings an international perspective to his work.

Tom Dolan, Managing Partner

Tom is a hands on studio leader, a designer and interactive developer, and an industry veteran with over twenty years of professional experience. Since the mid-nineties he’s worked at the intersection of top-level graphic and interactive design, developing a deep understanding of media factors on design decision-making. His work has been widely published by Graphis, Taschen, and design periodicals. Prior to founding Polychrome, Tom was an Art Director and Senior Director for New Media at Virgin Records America, and Creative Director at noted Los Angeles agency Buck (then known as Fullerene). Tom has graduate and undergraduate degrees, respectively, from Art Center College of Design and California Institute of the Arts.
